Work For The Night Is Coming

“Work for the Night is Coming” was this week’s theme for Hymn Photography. Here’s a verse that says “Work while the dew is sparkling; Work ‘mid springing flowers.” So, here are a few of my favorites…

Love Lifted Me

Posted: February 11, 2013 in Photography

This week’s assignment for Hymn Photography was the song “Love Lifted Me.” My original idea was to have a couple sitting on a bench at the lake at sunset. The guy would wrap his arm around the girl and she would lean her head onto his shoulder. I wanted to shoot behind the couple so that they became a silhouette, and you could see the reflection of the sunset on the water. My other idea was to capture a picture of a parent laughing with his/her child while lifting them in the air. However, neither of these ideas happened due to me being the world’s worst procrastinator. So, in this post, the first two pictures are what I turned in as homework and the third picture is just an extra.

This week’s assignment for hymn photography was “The B-I-B-L-E”…I know these pics aren’t as creative as last semester’s, but once I get back in the swing of things, my pics will get better.
